Riley laughed as Kasi tackled him and climbed on top of his chest. Good morning sunshine! He said energetically. It's eight a.m. and you and I are going to see Sasha today to find out about jobs! Grinning almost anime-ishly, he gently pushed Kasi off of his chest and stood up. Time to go down to breakfast. I wonder what kind of waffle batter they have today? I hope it's blueberry! Riley was almost halfway out the door when he turned around and looked at Kasi. Are you coming or what?

Kasi stared at him. Your a morning person? I haven't gotten dressed unless this is ok? she said gesturing to herself, still in sleep ware. She hopped out of bed and stretched fully. Where are we going?

I'm only a morning person when there's important things to do, and this is definitely an important thing. And what your wearing is fine. Riley grabbed Kasi by the hand and proceeded to pull her out door, only stopping to grab his keycard. Just as he had last night, Riley dragged her down the hall, to the elevator, and into the lobby. But instead of going out the front doors, he swept her off towards the left and down a hallway, into a large open room with tables scattered everywhere. This is where we have breakfast.

Kasi brightened at the smell of the food in the room. Well? What are we waiting for?! Let's eat! she looked at Riley and smiled. I'll have to go back to my house to get some suitable clothes to meet Sasha, ok? She took a plate and piled it with eggs, bacon, toast, and had a side plate filled with pancakes. Where do we sit? I need to get some milk after we sit down. Kasi asked Riley looking for an empty seat, and the drinks.

Riley went and grabbed a cup of coffee, mixing in his cream and sugar before taking a big gulp. He set the mug down on a table, and when Kasi asked, he pointe in her direction. After she'd asked where the milk was, he pointed to a small mini-fridge that sat on the countertop. Grabbing a plate and tray, Riley headed over to the waffle maker and made himself two blueberry Belgian waffles. Once done there, he stacked scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage on his plate, and put an apple, a cup of raspberry yogurt, a pastry, and his silverware on his tray. When he was satisfied he had enough food, he carried the tray over to the table, sat down, and began to dig in.

Kasi grabbed her milk and walked her two platefuls over to where Riley was eating. People always ask me how I eat so much and stay so small, do you have an answer? she asked laughing at the amount of food they would both eat. Hey listen, she began hesitantly. Kasi touched his hand so that he let go of the fork and looked at her. I just wanted to say thanks again. It means a lot...what you did last night. she said not looking directly into his eyes. Kasi ended abruptly, quickly letting go of Riley's hand and shoveled food into her mouth, keeping her eyes down on her plate.

Riley's eyes bulged at her two plates as opposed to his one. You'd think you were trying to out eat me! He exclaimed, his mouth gaping dramatically. You must have a hyperactive metabolism. He buttered, cut, and spilled syrup over his waffles while she spoke. It's no big deal, Kasi. You're my friend. Why wouldn't I? He smiled at her, before taking his hand back to start chowing down on the blueberry waffles. Riley's stomach filled slowly as he ate his way through the plate of food he'd brought. From what he'd heard of Sasha, she gave jobs to anybody who she judged to be good with horses and had a good attitude. People had been hired and started working that same day. So, he had figured he'd better be prepared to jump right in working.

Kasi kept her eyes diverted, only laughing slightly at Riley's comment. Tell me about Sasha. I haven't heard much. Do you know her well? she asked, curiosity getting the better of her. She ate her way through one plate, now attacking her pancakes. Kasi peeked at Riley, unused to the lack of hair to hide her. She might as well have just stared.

Riley chewed on a bite of waffle as he considered this. I've never met her. I've only heard about her. It sounds like she does a lot with horses in Paradise City. I'm pretty sure she's got the most horses out of anybody. She sounds nice. From what I've heard, she gives a job to anybody who wants one, as long as they're good with the horses. Of course, if they aren't comfortable riding, they can always do stable chores. I guess she also runs some kind of mustang rescue? She buys up all the mustangs she cans and keeps them in this huge pasture, and tries to rehabilitate them, and lets them stay as a herd. Or a couple herds, I guess, since there's a couple of stallions. Riley stopped and blushed, realizing he was babbling. I..only know so much about the mustangs because someone mentioned them and I pretty much did a spanish inquisition... Riley mumbled, thinking he surely sounded like a stalker or something.

Kasi smiled impishly at Riley. She sounds awesome! When are we meeting her? Did you set up an appointment? I haven't ridden in ages, despite living here for so long. she said looking Riley in the face, excitement shown on her face. Hey! Kasi said suddenly. Have you seen the Meadow? Supposedly there are wild mustangs there! We should go see sometime! she said, lost in planning some future excursion with Riley. You done? she asked jokingly, when she placed the last bite of pancake in her mouth, getting syrup everywhere.

While Kasi shot questions at him, Riley gulped down the rest of his breakfast, eager to get going. Item A: I know she does. Item B: We are meeting her when we get out of here and drive over there. Item C: no. Item D: No, I have not seen the meadow. Item E: If we have time, we should go. And, item F: yes. Let's go get ready. Riley stood, picking up his tray and carrying it over the counter handing it to the attendant. After doing so, he turned to Kasi. Do you want to dash home quick and change, then pick me up here? Or is it far?

It's not far. You got everything? Kasi said feeding off of Riley's excitement, she was practically bouncing. As they walked to her car she asked, Do you ride? My dad taught me when I was little. Kendall knows how to too, but he won't. I guess he likes bar tending. Kasi mused mostly to herself, just voicing the thoughts in her head.

I ride. Riley said as he walked Kasi to her car. Once they got there, he stopped. So I'm going to go up, shower, and get ready, then you're going to pick me up here in...half an hour or so? Or is that too soon? Riley cocked his head in a manner similar to that of a confused puppy.

That should be fine. I live pretty close to the club so that will be quick. Kasi said smiling at Riley-the-puppy. She started to get and got back out. Can you grab the clothes I left in your room and just bring them when I pick you up? Thanks Riley! Kasi said as she ducked inside her green Chevy and zoomed off. She made it home in record time, Kendall let her in without a word. She showered, grabbed some skinny jeans, a worn-out t-shirt, and boots. Kasi decided she would let her hair air dry on the way over to Riley's and she yelled a quick good-bye to Kendall and arrived back at Riley's with a couple minutes to spare.
