Phoebe nodded and brought the three mares to their stalls. She went to the next paddock and got the next group. After about ten minutes she walked the last horse into her stall and slid the door shut. She went over to Abbey to see how she was doing with the stallions and geldings.

Abbey finished just before Pheobe, and was striding towards the mares barn. Inside, she found Pheobe, and smiled.
"All done? We've still got to feed, cheack water, give hay and rug. So lets give hay first, then rug and check water, and finally feed, okay?"

"okay. Come with Me."
She headed into the tack and feed room, and walked to the corner, filled with several hay bales, and some open ones and a trolley. She grabbed the trolley, and popping on three bales and an open one, Abbey wheeled it out.
" we'll go down each aisle and toss in a biscuit, understand?"
She stopped in the center at one end of the breezeway, and grabbed a bisscuit, tossing it into a feed bin in the horses stable. The next horse had a hay net, which she filled, the third had nothing, so it fell onto the ground.

Phoebe nodded and tossed a flake of hay into the first stall on the oposit side of Abbey. Each of the horses either had their hay put on the floor, in a hay net, or in a bin. She smiled as each horse excitedly muched at their supper. Phoebe found it amazing how there wasn't a single sound but the munching of hay when feeding time was over.

Once each horse had been feed, they worked through the next stable, and the other ones. Abbey smiled.
"Thanks. You don't know how much this helps. Okay, so only a few mares and geldings need ruggs, its still warm. Its just thouse with rugs outside thier stall on the rack. Cheack everyones water too."
Abbey took one side of the stable and followed her own instructions.

Phoebe smiled and nodded.''No problem.''She walked the other way and got a blanket off of the first mare's stall. The name plate read Baby Girl.''Hi there, Baby Girl.''Said Phoebe gently as she walked into the chestnut mare's stall. She put the blanket and her back and secured the straps.''There ya go, girlie.''She slipped out of the stall and slid the door shut. Phoebe did the same process with all of the other horses on her side of the barn.

Abby followed suite, easily taking up her routine of cheaking the water and throwing on a rug, bucklimg it up. and patting them briefly before leaving. However, some of the younger ones and rescues were more difficult, and didn't wear rugs or didn't take them off. Still, she took ages with some, as they jumped away.

Abbey smled and stepped out.
"Nope, and we're done, once with pour in the feeds in a few minutes. I give it about 15 before they get their final feed. Want a drink?"
She asked, headng for the stable loungue, and opening a bar fridge up. They had stocked it with all sorts off cool drinks and a few alcoholic ones too, but not many. She pulled ourt a Pepsi, and waited for Phoebe to reply.
