Phoebe walked into the Mare Barn and smiled. The lovely aroma of horses and hay filled the air. As she walked down th aisle she looked at every horse and their name plates. When she got by Amy she automatically knew that she was one of the horses Harriet had assigned her to train and care for.''Hi there, Amy.''She said gently. Amy looked at her warily.''Don't worry girl. I won't hurt ya.''She held out her hand for the beautiful Thoroughbred to sniff. She cautiously stepped foreword.''Good girl.''Phoebe stroked her soft nuzzle and walked on to the next stall. The next horse she remembered Harriet telling her about was Dancer. The bay mare gave her to same looked Amy did when she looked into her stall.''Hi Dancer.''She said softly. She pinned her ears back. Phoebe could tell already that it would be hard work to get Dancer to trust her. But it would be worth it. The next horse she recognized was Sahara. Phoebe looked further into the stall to see her filly, Jaffa.''Hey there girls. Sahara stuck her head out of the stall and nuzzled her on the shoulder. Phoebe gave her a pat.''You're a sweetie pie, huh girlie.''

Abbey walked down the aisle that afternoon, and spotted an unfamiliar face.
"Hi, can I help you?"
She questioned, wondering wwhy this girl was looking at her horses and stuff.

Phoebe turned away from Sahara and Jaffa's stall quickly.''Hi, my name's Phoebe Yenson.''She smiled slightly.''I'm the new stablehand.''She held out her hand to shake.''Who are you?''

Abbey smiled, and extended her hand to shake Pheobe's.
" Oh, hi. Mum told me. I'm Abbey. I pretty much run the horse part of Ash Wood."
She said happily.

" Nup, I'm just doing my horses, I've got one more to excersise then I'll bneed help bringing the whole lot in from the paddocks, as about two-thirds of em are out in paddocks."
She said, appriciating the offer.
"Then its rugging and feeding and watering."

Phoebe nodded. ''Alright. I'll be settling in my horse, Mister. You can come get me when you need help bringing in.''

" Okay. If you need anything like new feed buckets or bedding, just ask me."
With that, Abbey left to find Destiny. She brought the mare in and tacked her up. Mounting she headed for the arena.

Abby rode quietly for an hour nearly, then dismouted, patting the white Andalusian.

Phoebe walked out to the yard to see her friend from back home driving up the drive way with a trailer hooked p to the back of her pick up.''Thanks May!''Said Phoebe thankfully as the beautiful blond jumped out of the car.''No prob, Phoebs.''She said as she gave her friend a hug.''I'll call ya later, k?''Phoebe nodded.''Cool.''They unloaded Mister and said good bye.
When May had left Phoebe stroked her gelding and went to get him a bucket of water and a flake of hay. ''You had a big day, huh, Mister.''She said as she scratched behind his ears. She turned to see Abbey patting a white Andalusian out side.''It looks like Abbey's about done with her ride.''She turned out walker toward Abbey. Phoebe smiled warmly.''He's lovely.''She said once she approached.

Abbey smiled, and approched Pheobe and Mister, meeting them half-way. She recognised Mister, as she had bourght nearly all of the horses from that sale bar Mister and one other.
"This is Destiny. She's needing some major training, but is awsome!"
She said, reffering to the mare. She turned and fussed over Mister, rubbing him.
"Hey Mister, you like it here?"
She asked him. Straightening up, she lead Destiny to the tack up bay and untacked the mare, and started to hose her down.
"Pheobe, just wait up and I'll help you, ok?"

Phoebe nodded and let Mister into his stall. She gave him a pat and a kiss on the nose.''Sure.''She said with a warm smile.

Abbey lead Destiny into her stall in the other stable, then returned to the gelding stable. She stood outside Mister's Stall.
"Okay, so He doesn't need a re-topping of bedding yet... We'll need to get him a feed bucket. I'll grab it."
She returned with a feed bucket and hooked it onto the stall door with a smile. She opened up the double dutch doors at the rear of the stal into a run, or yard. He shared it with another gelding, Skylar, a dapple grey Dales Pony. Skylar nickered at his new 'roomie'.
"This is Skylar. They are only locked into their stalls at feed times, or during bad weather. Skys real easy to handle, so don't worry. He gets on with everyone."
She smiled and waited for Pheobe to exit the stall after she had.
"Alright, any questions? Are we ready to bring in the horses?"

"let's bring in all the horses first. The paddock and stable plans are on the board, so just bring them all into their stall. C'mon."
She said and walked out to the paddock. She grabbed the leads on the gate and stepped into the paddock of three horses.
"You get that paddock over there."
She pointed to an adjacent paddock.

Phoebe nodded and walked over to the paddock and grabbed the three leads before slipping through the gate. She put the halters on the threesome and held each of their ropes at once as she brought them out.''Where should these guys go?''She asked cheerfully.

Abbey clipped the leads onto the halters of her three mares, that were paddocked in halters and two had a lightweight rug on. She lead them in, calling back to Pheobe.
"Youv'e got Amy, Dancer and Baby Girl. Their in the mares. The names of the horses are on the paddock gate, and the stable plan in on the board outside each stable."
She said and headed to the stable with her three mares, putting them away.
"You finish the mares, I'll get in the geldings atnd Stallions."
She smied and walked away, bringing in one, two or three at a time.
